In the trading card hobby, a base card is the standard, common version of a card that makes up the majority of a set. Original artwork refers to the actual, one-of-a-kind physical or digital painting/illustration created by the artist, which is then mass-produced to create those base cards.

This traditional illustration was done as original artwork for a base card for TOPPS/WWE by illustrator, Carlos Cabaleiro for WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2020. Unfortunately, just after approvals and final payments were made, Topps lost the rights to WWE and this artwork was never published. I was able to retain the card artwork and am making it available exclusively on my website. Done on gesso primed Strathmore 400 Hot Press Illustration board measuring 11 inches x 14 inches (Actual artwork measures 9.25 inches x 12.75 inches). Painted with Holbein Acrylic Gouache, and finished with Polychromos colored pencils and Pan Pastels. Sealed with Liquitex Soluvar Matte Varnish.

Signed by the artist. This is a rare piece of WWE original artwork made available exclusively on the website. Price includes expedited and insured shipping, handling, and sales tax.

    Packaging is recorded at every step, shipments are hand delivered to shipping agent and documented. Everything is done to ensure as smooth a process as possible for all parties involved. 

    Damaged or lost in delivery (shipping claims) If your item is damaged or lost in delivery, you must cooperate fully with us throughout the carrier/insurance claims process, including (as reasonably requested): providing order details, photos/videos of the item and all packaging, and responding to claim-related questions and requests within the time-frames we provide.

    If you do not cooperate fully, we may deny or limit any refund or compensation to the extent permitted by law and to the extent we cannot successfully pursue the claim due to your lack of cooperation.

    We will seek compensation from the carrier/insurer as appropriate. Any refund/replacement (if approved) will be limited to what we receive and are able to recover from the carrier/insurer, unless the damage/loss resulted from our breach.

    Important: Please inspect your package upon arrival, keep all packaging and documentation, and notify us promptly if there’s damage.
